Introduction Alen Marekovic

The person:

Alen began working seriously with dogs in the autumn of 1992, when he started training agility with his  first dog, a Bearded Collie bitch, Asa, at the KOSSP “Zagreb” dog club.
Alen`s career as an agility and obedience trainer took off very soon after, at the beginning of 1993.
Since 1993, with the exception of 1996, he has been a member of the Croatian National Agility Team, first with Asa and later with his Border Collie bitch, Int. Agility Ch. Puppy,  Croatian Sheepdog bitch, Cita, his wife’s Border Collie dog, Cap,  Border Collie bitches, Myf and Kix, and Croatian Sheepdog, Runo.

Alen is a coach of Croatian National team since 1997.

From 2003 Alen is official Croatian delegate in FCI agility committee.

In addition to having held agility seminars all over the world, Alen is an international judge.
